Foundation Policy
This policy explains how financial contributions made to the Keka Legacy Foundation through our website are accepted, processed, managed, and acknowledged.
Effective Date: August 28, 2026
Section 01
Contributions to the Keka Legacy Foundation support the Foundation’s mission, organizational capacity, program development, community engagement, partnerships, and initiatives related to education, workforce development, economic empowerment, leadership development, and community advancement.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, contributions made through this website are provided in support of the Foundation’s mission and are not payments for goods or services.
Section 02
The Foundation may accept one-time or recurring financial contributions through approved payment methods made available on its website.
The Foundation reserves the right to decline, return, or restrict a contribution when accepting the contribution would be inconsistent with the Foundation’s mission, legal obligations, organizational policies, or operational interests.
Contributions may not be used to obtain improper influence, preferential treatment, or any benefit inconsistent with the Foundation’s mission or applicable requirements.
Section 03
General contributions may be used where they are most needed to advance the Foundation’s mission, including program development, community initiatives, educational activities, partnerships, outreach, technology, administrative capacity, and other mission-aligned organizational needs.
When the Foundation expressly accepts a contribution for a specific approved initiative or purpose, it will make reasonable efforts to use those funds for the stated purpose. If circumstances make that use impractical or impossible, the Foundation may contact the contributor or apply the funds to a closely related mission-aligned purpose as permitted by applicable requirements.
Section 04
Contributors may choose a one-time contribution or, when available, authorize a recurring monthly contribution through the Foundation’s secure payment system.
By selecting a recurring contribution, the contributor authorizes the payment method provided to be charged according to the selected billing frequency until the recurring contribution is canceled or otherwise discontinued.
Contributors may contact the Foundation for assistance with canceling or updating a recurring contribution. Cancellation requests should be submitted before the next scheduled processing date whenever possible.
Section 05
Online contributions are processed through third-party payment-processing services used by the Foundation. Payment information is transmitted and processed through secure payment technology provided by those services.
The Foundation does not intentionally display or store a contributor’s complete payment-card number through the public contribution page.
Section 06
Contributors who provide a valid email address will generally receive an electronic confirmation or payment receipt following a successfully processed contribution.
Contributors should retain payment confirmations and receipts for their personal records.
Section 07
A payment confirmation or receipt issued by the Foundation documents the payment transaction but does not, by itself, constitute a representation regarding the contributor’s eligibility for any tax deduction or other tax treatment.
Contributors are responsible for consulting their own tax or financial professionals regarding the treatment of any contribution for personal, business, accounting, or tax purposes.
Section 08
Contributions are generally considered final once successfully processed. However, the Foundation will review reasonable requests involving duplicate transactions, processing errors, unauthorized payments, or other circumstances that may warrant correction.
Refund or correction requests should be submitted promptly through the Foundation’s contact page and should include sufficient information to identify the transaction. Any refund or adjustment remains subject to applicable payment-processing requirements and law.
Section 09
Information provided during the contribution process may be used to process payments, maintain records, issue confirmations or receipts, respond to inquiries, administer recurring contributions, and support legitimate Foundation operations.
Additional information regarding the Foundation’s handling of personal information is provided in its Privacy Policy.
Section 10
The Keka Legacy Foundation may revise this policy periodically to reflect changes in its operations, programs, payment systems, administrative requirements, or applicable obligations. Updated versions will be posted on this website with a revised effective date.
